A2Y AI Bookkeeping — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
A2Y (“we”, “us”) provides A2Y AI Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping service for our business clients. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.
What we access
- Gmail (read-only). A client may connect the mailbox where their supplier invoices arrive. The app reads messages and attachments only to find invoices, receipts and credit notes. It never sends, deletes or changes email.
- Google Drive. The app saves processed documents into the client’s chosen bookkeeping folder. It reads only what it needs for that work: the folder and the documents filed there.
- Account details. Name and email address, used to sign in and to show who is connected.
How we use it
We use this data only to provide bookkeeping for that client: reading invoices, preparing records for approval, and filing documents. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with other clients. Each client’s data is kept separate.
Google API data
A2Y AI Bookkeeping’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train general AI models. Document text may be processed by AI services only to read the client’s own invoices. That processing goes through business AI services that do not train on it.
Storage and security
Data is stored on systems controlled by A2Y, with access limited to authorised staff. Sign-in tokens are stored securely and are never shown in the browser.
Your choices
A client can disconnect Gmail or Drive at any time from the app, or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have your data deleted, email us. We delete it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep bookkeeping records longer.
